The band honor's an historic Jazz Icon, Joe Brazil who taught at the University of Washington and created the Black Academy Of Music (BAM). Ms. Tana Yasu, Joe Brazil's niece, has endeavored to keep the legacy of her Uncle Joe's music relevant. The group will be playing from 5:00-6:30pm at the Tandoori Cafe and Indian Cuisine restaurant, 1801 S. Jackson St., Suite A. The Legacy Tribute Band features Traditional Jazz and the members are: Antonius Mulia, Keyboard, Darryl Barber, Sax, Harvey Leonard, Trumpet, Steve Banks, Drums, Lamar Lofton, Bass, Michael Yasutake, Sax.
