Gary Locke Assures Resolution In The Works

Today, at 5:30pm, Gary Locke, President of Bellevue College, called Connie So, President of OCA Asian Pacific Advocates of Greater Seattle to assure OCA-GS that the situation is being resolved.  An Asian American Studies class will be offered in the Bellevue College Spring 2022 schedule.  Connie encouraged Gary to add another class for Asian American Studies, and to ensure that all the various ethnic studies disciplines (African American Studies, Latinx Studies, Indigenous Studies, etc.) will have at least 2 classes each.  OCA-GS adamantly believes that having more Ethnic Studies offerings is particularly important considering current events.
