After moving into the heart of Seattle’s Chinatown International District, IE videographer Pei Chou goes on a journey to uncover the past of her apartment, Hotel Milwaukee. Through her eyes, she saw the importance of preserving and passing on such history of our local community.

This year’s two Fred Yee Citizens Award recipients are Mr. & Mrs. Lo-Yu Sun, and the Chinese Information & Services Center (CISC). The Fred Yee Citizens Award honors those who personify C.A.C.A.’s mission to develop leadership, serve the community, and promote civil rights. The Rising Star Award is presented to youth who have shown unlimited potential in serving the community. The 2024 recipient of the Rising Star Award is Eric Wai-Hou Chan. We are also pleased to announce the keynote speaker will be Assunta Ng, past recipient of the Fred Yee Citizens Award and publisher of Northwest Asian Weekly. The raffle this year will support C.A.C.A. Seattle’s youth programs. Be sure to bring cash to buy raffle tickets - $5 each or 3 for $20. As in past years, we will have many exciting prizes to give away! Tickets for the banquet are: $600 for a table of 10 $65 individual tickets for members $90 individual tickets for non-members.
